Ramadan 2025 @ICNEV

Assalamualaikum dear brothers and sisters,

Please join us for Ramadan 2024 at ICNEV with your family, friends and community. We are excited to see all of you at our masjid in this Holy month of blessings and mercy. May Allah SWT allow us to reach and benefit from this month and accept our fasting and Ibadah. Ameen.

According to Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA) and Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) below are the dates for Ramadan and Eid ul Fitr 1446 AH:

First day of Ramadan- Saturday, March 1st, 2025
First Taraweeh Prayers- Friday, February 28th, 2025
Eid ul Fitr- Sunday, March 30th, 2025

Safety Restrictions:

For your safety, private security officers will be on site for Taraweeh and Iftaars. Please respect our neighbors and community by not parking in restricted areas and driving safely in and around the masjid area.

Taraweeh Prayers:

We will offer 20 rakahs led by Imam Ali Mashour and Imam Sarya Ismail

To accommodate moms in our community, babysitting will be available daily during Ramadan for kids 5 years and older from 8-10 pm for a drop-in rate of $5 per child per day

Although we recommend everyone to join us for Taraweeh prayers at ICNEV, for those unable to attend due to health concerns we will be live streaming Taraweeh on our YouTube channel @ICNEV. Annual Fundraiser: 

Our Annual Ramadan Fundraiser will be on Friday, March 7th, inshaAllah. Iftar Dinner will be provided. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend.

Community Iftars: 

InshaAllah we will have community catered Iftars every Saturday and Community Potluck Iftars every Sunday in Ramadan. We will also have a special board sponsored catered Iftar on Friday, March 28th (29th Night) followed by Qiyam for our community. 
We are looking for sponsors for our Saturday Iftars to offset the cost. Please reach out to Br Sarfaraz if you are interested. May Allah SWT reward you.

Every Sunday in Ramadan, join us for a casual potluck iftar with your friends and community. Please bring a dish to share with others.

Suhoors at ICNEV:

Suhoor will be provided daily in the last ten nights of Ramadan starting the night of Saturday, March 20th. Please feel free to bring a dish to share.

 

Ramadan Programs:

InshAllah, we are planning to offer a wide variety of programs this Ramadan for families, youth and sisters, including our popular ICNEV Annual Quran Competition, Youth Iftaar & Qiyams,, Daily Maqraat Al Quran, Khutmul Quran with dessert potluck, Ladies Henna event and more. Details of these programs will be in our weekly newsletter.
In addition we will have Qiyam, tahhajjud, and Suhoors in the last ten nights of Ramadan.

We are in need of volunteers during this Ramadan. Please reach out to any board member if you are able to give some time this Ramadan.

Please take advantage and plan to participate in the above prayers, events, Iftars and programs to inshallah make this a memorable and spiritually uplifting Ramadan for you and your families. We thank our community, our volunteers, teachers, staff and administrators without whom none of this would’ve been possible.
